1. Who we are

WorkEurope is a service operated by Work Across Europe, Zmaj Ognjena Vuka 24, Novi Sad, Serbia (company registration number 21935204, tax/VAT number 113850129). Work Across Europe operates workacrosseurope.com and is the controller of the personal data described here. Contact: support@workacrosseurope.com.

2. Data we collect

• Account data: name, email address, password (stored hashed), language.
• Profile data: country, phone number, passport status, English level, work experience, documents you upload.
• Application data: jobs you apply to, application status, messages.
• Payment data: payment status and invoice reference. Card details are handled by our payment provider and never stored by us.
• Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, basic usage statistics.

3. Why we use it

• To provide the service and your account (performance of a contract).
• To share your candidate profile with employers you apply to (your request).
• To process payments, invoices and fraud prevention (legal obligation).
• To send service emails and, with your consent, job newsletters.
• To improve the platform using aggregated statistics (legitimate interest).

4. Sharing

We share data with employers you choose to apply to, with our hosting and database provider, our email provider and our payment provider. We never sell your personal data. Some providers may process data outside your country, using standard contractual clauses where required.

5. Retention

Account and application data are kept while your account is active and for up to 24 months afterwards. Invoice records are kept as long as required by tax law. You can request deletion at any time.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent. Write to support@workacrosseurope.com and we will respond within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

7. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for login and security, and basic analytics to understand traffic. You can block cookies in your browser, but login will not work without the necessary ones.

8. Security

Data is stored on secured servers with encryption in transit, access control and row-level security. No system is fully secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
